      Adding a Product

      Adding a new product is very easy! Brands have the independence to create and add their product details. Retailers can then access these details.

      Follow the steps below to learn how to add your products to the ClearForMe platform.

      This example brand we will use is called, “Beautycare”.

      Today we will add this kit that contains three products.
      • Here are the details of the products:

       

      Step 1: To begin, login to the ClearForMe platform with your username and password.

      • If you have questions about logging in, start here.

       

      Step 2: On your dashboard, you will see a menu item called, "Add Product".

       

      Step 3: Add in the Product Title & UPC, following the below instructions.

      • See this example Product Title & UPC:

      This product is a bundled product.

      Now it is time to add the first component and associated group of ingredients.

       

      Step 4: Add the first group of ingredients, which is under the product titled, “Facial Primer”.

      • Select and copy the ingredient in the Facial Primer component.

      • Paste these ingredients into the “Ingredient Text” section.

       

      Step 5: Click, “Create”.

      • This will take you to the product edit page. You can edit and add the rest of the components now.
      • Update this component name to, “Facial Primer” and save.

      • Add a new component titled with Component 2 name, “Protect Your Face SPF Lotion”.

      Step 6: Select, “Active Ingredients” because this is a sunscreen where the active and inactive ingredients are called out. 
        • If an ingredient group is not called out, you can select the ingredient group called, "Ingredients".

      • Add the active ingredient.

      Step 7:  Click, “Save”.

      • Add a second ingredient group called, “Ingredients”.

      • Copy and paste in these ingredients.

      Step 8: Click, “Save”.

      • Use the below details for the last product in this set.
        • This is a makeup brush, which can be called out as a "Tool".

      • Add the final component and utilize the ingredient group drop down to select, the option called, "Tool".

         

        Step 9: Review the ingredient lists for each component.

        • Click, "Preview Ingredients" to be able to experience the ingredient definition pop up.

        • The tool will take you to the bottom of the product edit page, where you can view the ingredient list and click on the ingredients for definitions.


         

        Step 10: Once you have reviewed the product details and are certain this product is ready to be saved, click, "Save Product".

         

        You will get a successful toast message.

        Your work is done!

        Note: To add products to your Clickable Ingredients inventory, click 'Quick Add Inventory' and input the product SKU. This is an important step to ensure Clickable Ingredients will display on your product details page.
